Meet the HAMIN board

Hamin foundation board consists of 5 members who support the foundation on a voluntary basis.

Chairman:
Gijsbert van Kampen  has in the past 20 years, the experience gained in leadership roles in business, shared by accepting board positions in organisations focused on sharing the Good News and organisation supporting the porest among us.  He served in various leadership positions an evangelical church for the past 18 years, Today he is actieve in the board of Hamin, the board of Heart for Swasiland and is a member of the supervisory board of Go and tell.

Treasurer:
Ewout Schouten has experience in various board positions in, among others, the VCO (association Christian Education in Harderwijk), also served on the city council of Harderwijk for the CDA for 12 years.Also at the choirs in Harderwijk had various board positions, from secretary, chairman to technical/sound man.Now I am a help manager in the Kerkelijk Centrum de Regenboog where technology is also my focus.In the Reformed Church, now Protestant Church Harderwijk, also fulfilled various tasks as a youth elder and now I am deacon in the district de Regenboog.Together with Michelle Schouten-Klaasse we keep the website of the PGHarderwijk up-to-date and provide a weekly newsletter.

Secretary:
Adrienne Blomberg spent 30 years in Thailand where she and her husband Somsak (2009) raised their family. She was one of the co-founders of Siam-Care and worked with the organization for 23 years. In 2013 Adrienne moved to Liberia where she became involved in Ebola prevention work, and continued to develop the Safeguarding and Protection work as well as programs to combat SGBV (Gender and Seuxal Violence) for various International Non-Governmental Organizations such as Tearfund, Geneva Global and Luminos Fund. In 2020 Adrienne returned to The Netherlands and continues to support the work of HAMIN. She believes in working with grassroot organisations, those on the ground who will remain in position when others have left.

General board members:
Frieda van de Vis was one of the first people supporting the work of HAMIN which was founded by her late husband Jan in the late 80s. As a board member Frida supports the work in prayer and by making others enthusiastic to serve the Lord and our fellow-men by acting out our faith with our hands and feet.
